Kaj was raised on Vashon Island and met the Lord through a high school teacher that served bi-vocationally as the pastor at Calvary Full Gospel Church. Kaj studied at Pacific Lutheran University, where he met his wife Janell. Together they started The Upper Room campus ministry during their senior year, to reach college students with the Gospel (it continues to be a vibrant ministry today). Upon graduation from PLU, they continued serving as campus pastors sent out from their local church Puget Sound Christian Center in Tacoma. For the next ten years they served faithfully at Puget Sound Christian Center as Associate Pastors. In 2009, the Lord spoke to them to join Grays Harbor Foursquare Church in Aberdeen, Washington with Kaj serving as the Associate Senior Pastor. In the middle of that family transition to Aberdeen, Kaj was also appointed as the newly formed Northwest District Missions Representative with Foursquare Missions. In 2011 after two great years in Aberdeen, the Martins were asked to assume the pastoral responsibilities at Living Way Foursquare Church in North Seattle’s Greenwood neighborhood up on the hill Kaj calls “Disciple Hill.” Kaj and Janell have three kids Phoebe, Asha and Luke.

Bryan and Anna visited Living Way for the first time in December 2011, immediately sensing God’s leading to make it their home church. Soon after stepping into Living Way Bryan and Anna became involved in prayer and leadership. Anna is one of our worship leaders. Bryan serves as the Prayer Pastor at Living Way. He also works full-time as a Realtor for Keller Williams in Seattle. Bryan and Anna have two daughters Evangeline and Abigail.
