Central to the life of any Foursquare Church worldwide is the discipline of prayer. We have found that the future health of the church is predicated upon the vitality of the prayers of the saints. We gather corporately to pray on Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm. We encourage every soul at the church to have a vibrant daily prayer time in which they meet and talk with the Lord. We also use e-mail to distribute prayer needs and praise reports. For more information about prayer at the church, e-mail email@example.com
During our Sunday morning service there is nursery care provided for infants and toddlers ages 0-2. Preschool ages 3-4 and grade school ages 5-11, meet downstairs with their teachers at 10:00am. At 10:15, they are brought to the sanctuary for corporate worship. When worship is done the preschoolers are taken to their class downstairs and the older kids are escorted to the Annex (portable classroom) for an age-appropriate lesson and nut-free snack. Service and classes finish at approximately 11:45. Please note: Parents are required to sign their children in to class. Sign-ins are downstairs, look for a Kid’s Church volunteer to guide you.

“Around the globe with the Foursquare Gospel.” With these words the Foursquare founder, Aimee Semple McPherson, focused the mission and message of the family of churches in which we belong. From our inception as a fellowship in Ballard, God has called us to give generously to the work of the Church throughout the nations. That has taken on many expressions; from sending our best as missionaries, consistent monthly support of missionaries, short term teams, mentorship of national leaders and countless prayers from the saints that call this church home. God has placed our fellowship in Seattle but our vision is not limited by city limits, which were created by man. His heart is for all men to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Due to the enormity of the vision, and the constraints of our limited resources, we have strategically been placed in relationship with nation changers that we invest in, along with our denomination’s international trust within 141 nations. This coupling via relationships has lead to a great harvest of souls. We encourage everyone that calls this church home to invest themselves financially, practically and prayerfully in the vision of missions in our church. If we do as the Lord directs we will be full participants in the words of our Savior. “That repentance for the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in His name to all nations.” – Luke 24:47.
Small group gatherings throughout the community that serves as a primary means in the Living Way church family of forming disciples. Some meet weekly, others on a monthly basis. Every group has elements that mark them as Life Groups from Living Way. They prioritize the reading of the Scriptures, sharing of testimonies, prayer for one another and the expected refining process that comes when the “brethren dwell together in unity.” For a current listing of groups and when they meet go to the Life Groups portion of this website or call the church office (206-367-9600).
